HISTORY
Commencing in 1994, PDH opened its first branch in
the Gold Fields region of Charters Towers and expanded
to meet increasing demand - opening a second branch
in Nebo's Central Queensland Coalfields in 2001.
PDH relocated its main operation to the Nebo region
in early 2003, building a modern purpose built premises
to service the local market.
PERSONNEL
At PDH we believe that our staff are a valuable resource
and are pivotal to the success of the business. PDH
prides itself on employing and training skilled, committed
and energetic staff. Based on a philosophy requiring
quality outcomes and excellence in workmanship, the
business is supported by a select team of skilled
and committed personnel, operating within the parameters
of well-documented systems, policies and procedures.
As a result, PDH enjoys a higher than average level
of staff retention in an industry where the labour
market is as competitive as the sales market.

BUSINESS
ENVIRONMENT
PDH is located in the heart of the thriving
coal-mining region of the Bowen Basin. The workshop
and outlet is in the industrial estate in Nebo, less
than 50 klm from the front gates of the Hail Creek,
Copperbella and Moorevale Coal Projects, and less
that 90klm from several other operating and developing
coal mines. This proximity enables the business to
service to mines and contractors alike.
Business and economic growth and development within
the shire is unprecedented, and is set to keep pace
with the development and operation of the coal mining
sector.
In addition to servicing contractors and the mining
industry, PDH also services the robust agricultural
and farming sectors of the community.
